Welcome!

…to Our Web Site

The San Felipe Association of Retired Persons (SFARP) is a non-political, non-profit organization of Americans and Canadians residing / visiting/ enjoying the greater San Felipe region of Baja California, Mexico. Formed as San Felipe’s best English-language information resource, the Association is not affiliated with any other organization on either side of the border.

SFARP is dedicated to the proposition that your presence in San Felipe makes you a member of our informal organization. Consequently, all you need do to participate with us is attend one of our meetings. We (most of us are retirees but don't let that bother you) are committed to enjoying life to the fullest through a program of informative meetings, social events, community service ventures, desert and city tours, and many other fun activities.

We are dedicated to the proposition that being a "senior" is nothing to be ashamed of. On the contrary, we're the ones with the experience and expertise. When you see our membership in action, old stereotypes and prejudices about physical beauty, marketplace value, mental acuity and vitality being strictly the province of the young are shattered in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

We spent 20 (+ or -) years in school and 40 (+ or -) years making a living. Now, like an Olympic ice skater in her 20s, it's time to sit back and enjoy the rewards. And, speaking of rewards, think of the knowlege—the potential—we represent to any given community.

C'mon down! You'll be glad you did.
